The Freudenberg climbing forest offers an exciting experience for all ages. Nestled in a picturesque Buchenwald forest, there are four courses for adults and one for children. After professional instruction from the staff, visitors can explore the courses on their own. The different levels of difficulty provide variety and challenge. In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, the climbing forest remains closed; up-to-date information is available on the website.

Prices

All prices include 3 hours of climbing including climbing equipment. Visitors and spectators have free admission.

Children's course (from 4 years)*: € 10.50
Higher courses (minimum height 1.30 meters)
Children and young people (up to 17 years) *: € 15.50
Adults: 20,50 €

Groups of 12 people or more

* Climbing for children under 18 is only possible when accompanied by a parent or guardian or with our declaration of consent. You can download this from the homepage. Please bring the signed consent form with you.

Open-air stage and technology museum:
Would you like to visit the open-air theater or the Museum of Technology after your visit to the climbing forest? Then the open-air stage and the technology museum will give you €2.00 off the respective individual price per person on presentation of our discount coupon

Business hours

During the vacations in NRW, the climbing forest is also open on Wednesdays to Fridays from 1 - 8 pm.
For groups of 15 people or more, the climbing forest also opens outside regular opening hours.

Directions

Arrival Coming from the A45 / Siegen Olpe : Drive through Freudenberg. You will pass a traffic circle on the main road close to the center. At the second traffic circle, look for the parking lot sign on the left-hand side. The footpath to the climbing forest is signposted at the parking lot. Coming from the direction of Betzdorf / Niederfischbach : Drive directly towards the first traffic circle and you will see the parking lot sign on the right-hand side. Parking Please follow the parking lot signs. It is NOT allowed to park on the forest paths. Please use the parking lot on the main road.
