THE MOTHER - Bikepark Winterberg

The Bikepark Winterberg, known as THE MOTHER, is located in the middle of the Sauerland on the Kappe on the west-southwest to southwest edge of Winterberg's town center. It has established itself as one of the leading destinations for mountain biking in Germany. With over 17 trails with a total length of more than 20 kilometers, the park offers a wide range of riding options. The offer includes challenging downhill, freeride and enduro trails as well as flow country routes and a beginner & kids course for all levels of experience.

The trails are characterized by various elements such as banked turns, waves, step ups, step downs and gaps and are continuously maintained by a dedicated trail crew. Three modern chairlifts are available for comfortable transportation to the starting point.

In addition to the trails, THE MOTHER - Bikepark Winterberg has a bike rental service that provides state-of-the-art gravity bikes and protective equipment such as full-face helmets and protectors. The affiliated ShredAcad Bikeschool by The Mother offers riding technique training in group or private courses as well as bike camps to improve your mountain biking knowledge and skills. The use of the trails requires the wearing of a full-face helmet, whereby full body protection is mandatory on selected trails. E-bikes are permitted, provided they are private bikes and the maximum lift weight of 25 kg is adhered to.
