The beautiful Renau valley forms the start of this moderately difficult tour, which takes you via the market squares and St. Blasius on an undulating route to Wiemeringhausen. Once there in the Ruhrtal, you cycle back to Winterberg on a moderate incline along the still young river.

Winterberg
From the start at Bremberg, the route initially follows the Kurweg to the Astensanatorium and from there continues downhill into the beautiful Renau valley. After overcoming the Remberg at the marketplaces, we whizz down into the valley of the nameless and cross the country road just before Silbach to ride around the village to the east on the hillside. After Silbach, the route climbs towards Hoher Hagen and then descends again towards Siedlinghausen (on the left in the valley), which we pass. If you prefer, you can save yourself the climb and cycle down the valley to Siedlinghausen. After Siedlinghausen, we stay on the hill after a short climb and turn south uphill in Wiemeringhausen into the Ruhrtal. Now it's a leisurely ride via Niedersfeld, following the Ruhrtal, back up to Winterberg and from there to Bremberg.

Wearing a bicycle helmet should be a matter of course for all cyclists. Before setting off, check that your bike is in perfect condition. For demanding tours, we recommend packing plenty of drinks and snacks.
The gravel bike tours of the Bike Arena Sauerland are checked twice a year.
In Niedersfeld, take a short detour to the Hillebachsee, a beautiful place to relax.
