From Bremberg, we cycle along the spa trail to Altastenberg. Attention: Here we share the path with the hiking spa guests! From Altastenberg it becomes much quieter and we cycle to the Großer Bildchen. Ride slowly for the last 100 m before the Großer Bildchen, as it is very steep! Trekking cyclists please dismount. We now descend through the Nordenau forest to Nordenau and continue over a ridge to the lowest point of our tour to Westfeld, where we recommend a rest. From now on, the route climbs uphill, initially at a leisurely pace along the Lenne, later a little harder on the Hoher Knochen. On the Sahnehang of the Kahler Asten, we reach the Kurweg again, which leads us back to Winterberg.

Public transit

You can usually reach Winterberg quickly and easily by train. From Hagen, for example, there are connections every hour, from Kassel every 2 hours. The journey from Dortmund to Winterberg and vice versa takes just 104 minutes. Six times per working day or twelve times on Saturday or Sunday. Information about the door-to-door luggage service is available at all DB sales outlets.

From the north: A7 Hamburg-Hannover - A2 Bielefeld - A33 Paderborn - exit Wünnenberg, direction Brilon > Olsberg > Winterberg


From the south: A5 Frankfurt-Giessen - Marburg exit, direction Allendorf > Winterberg


From the west: A44 Dortmund-Kassel - exit Kreuz Werl, direction A46 Arnsberg > Meschede > Bestwig > Olsberg > Winterberg


From the east: A44 Kassel-Dortmund - exit Zierenberg, direction B251 Korbach > Medebach > Winterberg

You will find plenty of parking spaces at the Bremberg parking lot, otherwise drive a little further towards the city, where you will find various other parking spaces.
