The tour starts in Winterberg at the local tourist information office. The first section of this circular tour runs along the R 18 cycle path and circles the Kahler Asten before reaching Westfeld. From there, the route follows the Lenneradweg upstream towards the source of the Lenne, allowing you to experience the characteristic low mountain range landscape along the course of the stream. At Lenneplätze, far-reaching panoramic views open up and there are also refreshment stops along the route. The route then follows a section of the well-known Rothaarsteig long-distance hiking trail in the direction of Hoheleye. After a short passage on the main road 236, the ride continues on route A3, which offers continuous views of the Lenne. The route continues via Neuastenberg and along the R47 cycle path, which leads the cycle tour back to Winterberg and thus completes the circular route.
