Starting from Brilon, the route initially runs along the L870. In the village of Gudenhagen, the route touches the Brilon TrailGround. After Hoppecke, there is the first significant uphill challenge, followed by a descent to the scenic Diemelsee. After Gieringhausen, the longest climb of the tour begins, which leads to Willingen. In Olsberg, the final, substantial climb over the Langer Berg must then be mastered, followed by the return via Scharfenberg to Brilon.
