The e-bike route from the Saalhausen Nature Park Information Center to Oberhundem opens up a charming facet of the Sauerland landscape to visitors. Information on the rescue signs:

Cycle paths often run away from towns and settlements and every cyclist has thought about what would happen if an emergency were to occur. How can I be found here? Where am I anyway? Can the emergency services reach me?

In an emergency, things have to happen quickly! That's why the network of paths in the Lennestadt & Kirchhundem region is equipped with so-called rescue signs throughout. On the green and white stickers attached to the posts of the signposts is a number that you must give when making an emergency call. This means that the emergency services know exactly where you are and valuable time can be saved.

You should definitely plan a stop at the Alpenhaus. Alternatively, you can stop for refreshments at the end of the tour at the Haus des Gastes (Kur- und Bürgerhaus) Naturpark-Infozentrum Oberhundem. Please note the opening times.

Opening hours Cafè in the Haus des Gastes in Oberhundem:

During the NRW school vacations there is a waffle day for all guests on Wednesdays.

The café has room for about 80 guests. A disabled toilet is available.
