Directions

The cycle tour starts at the Sorpedamm parking lot. From the lake stage, you first ride over the dam of the Sorpe dam and enjoy the view of the lake or the equalization basin and power station on the left as you cross.Once you reach the other bank, turn right and follow the path for 9 km to the boat landing stage in Amecke. Along the way, you will regularly have beautiful views of Lake Sorpe, can visit the Kryillwald forest and have the opportunity to stop at one of the many dreamy bays and enjoy the natural surroundings.many benches invite you to take a break; however, there are no refreshment stops on this side of the lake. When you arrive at the boat landing stage in Amecke, turn right and cross the bridge between theforebayand Lake Sorpe, where you can take a break at campsite 5 and try out the "Wasser- und Atemaktiv-Airlebnisweg" trail around the forebay (on foot only!).) After the bridge, follow the cycle path along the L687 to Langscheid, where you can enjoy the beautifully designed Sorpe promenade and have a refreshing drink on one of the many terraces of the restaurants or enjoy the delicious regional cuisine.Waypoints: 35 40 37 35
