The Kinderland cycle route starts in Schmallenberg at the timber and tourism center. The route overcomes meters of altitude, which is compensated by far-reaching panoramas and diverse nature experiences along the route. This route is marked with a yellow label with the number 1 (blue); a shortcut of the main route is possible in Bad Fredeburg via the route with the number 4 (green). There are numerous opportunities for discovery along the way. Playgrounds, natural ponds and refreshing pedal pools invite you to take a relaxing break. Streams provide opportunities to cool off and linger. The natural surroundings allow encounters with animals such as horses, goats, donkeys and cattle. Wild animals such as roe deer, black storks, herons, deer and hares can also be observed with care.
