Short version 1 (blue) and 2 (red)The Kinderland cycle route starts at the Schmallenberg tourist information office with the yellow logo (no. 1) and the blue arrow sign pointing towards the villages of Fleckenberg, Lenne, Schmallenberg Kurpark, Grafschaft, Almert. From Almert, follow no. 2 (red) to Winkhausen. The route continues (no. 1 blue) via Niedersorpe, Holthausen, Bad Fredeburg, Ebbinghof, Berghausen, Selkentrop, Felbecke, Werpe back to Schmallenberg, the route length is approx. 49 km.
Wearing a bicycle helmet should be a matter of course for all cyclists.
We recommend that you bring sufficient food and drink.
A rescue point system has been installed in the Hochsauerland district. Rescue points can be found on the information boards at junctions and on the hiking signs.
On the Kinderland cycle route, even learning is fun. On the family adventure trail, in the slate mining and local history museum, or in the railroad model layout and at other sights, you will learn a lot about the country and its people.

Bus routes 466, 367, 369, SB9 and S90 run in Schmallenberg. Use the bus stop "Habbel" to get to the starting point of the tour.
