The Kirchhundem loop starts at the town hall in the center of the municipality. The route first leads from Kirchhundem to Emlinghausen, mainly along dedicated cycle paths. This is followed by the section to Heinsberg, which runs along less frequented sections of road. The tour continues to Würdinghausen along the L713, which crosses the charming Lütke Aa and Albaumer Bach stream valleys. The return to Kirchhundem is once again on low-traffic paths. The Kohlhagen pilgrimage church is an important stop, a place of spiritual reflection and spiritual contemplation.

Safety guidelines
A rescue point system has been installed throughout the region (Soest district, Hochsauerland district, Märkischer district, Olpe district and Siegen-Wittgenstein district). Rescue points can be found on the information boards at the junctions of the South Westphalia cycle network.

A visit to the Kohlhagen pilgrimage church is a good idea, as it is right on the edge of the trail.

How to get there
Our region is only about an hour's drive from the Ruhr or Rhineland.
- from the north and south via the A 45 and B55 (highway exit Olpe, B 55 direction Lennestadt),
- from the west via the A 4/A 45 (highway exit Olpe, B 55 direction Lennestadt)
- from the east via the A 44 / B 55 (highway exit Anröchte, B 55 direction Meschede).
