The Lippetal-Römer-Lippe route with Auenland loop, recognizable by the snipe logo, links various nature experience points along the Lippe and Ahse rivers by means of informative boards. The "Disselmersch" nature reserve is located to the west of crossing point 3. Here, extensive areas of grassland and bodies of water form a characteristic floodplain landscape at high tide, whose ecological dynamics are clearly visible.
