The mountain bike route "Willinger Trail-Quartett Nr. 45" is a challenging circular tour in Upland with refreshment stops. The route starts near the biathlon facility and Diemel spring, passes the "Auf'n Knoll" with distant views of Titmaringhausen and the Medebach Bay. Technical trails lead to the Kruttenberg, which offers panoramic views over Korbach, the Kellerwald National Park and the North Rhine-Westphalia/Hesse border region. A varied trail section leads over the Toten Mann coal pile and the Hillekopf into the Strycktal valley, supplemented by a specific descent from the Hildfelder Höhe. From Strycktal, the tour leads to the Hochheide plateau "Neuer Hagen", whose root passages require technical riding skills. The Biggestein downhill towards Niedersfeld and the ascent to Langenberg, the highest peak in North Rhine-Westphalia, characterize this section. A speedy gravel descent into the Hoppecke valley offers views over Willingen from the Sonnenlift lift route. The rest of the route includes a challenging ascent to the Hoher Eimberg. Its ridge path and subsequent serpentine descents lead to the Lommerke, from where there are distant views as far as the Soester Börde. The final stage circles Schwalefeld and, after another climb, reaches the Aartal valley near the Orenberg. A fast trail leads to the "Drei Dörfer Eck" before the descent over the Orenbergschanze to Willingen.
