The Repetal-Bigge-Runde, a regional cycle tour in the Olpe district, offers a multifaceted cycling experience. The starting point at Lennepark Finnentrop marks the beginning of this circular route, which can be joined flexibly at any time. A barrier-free ramp provides access to a bridge and the adjoining Lennebalkon, which opens up a special perspective over the Lennepark. Along the Lenne route, the trail first leads past the historic Haus Bamenohl castle before entering the Repetal valley. Here, the route is characterized by a moderate incline that leads through idyllic villages with well-kept restaurants. After passing the Repetal golf course, the Veischedetal valley stretches out, from where a further ascent leads to the highest point of the tour, which offers panoramic views. A swift descent leads cyclists to the Biggesee, one of the largest reservoirs in North Rhine-Westphalia. Following the riverside cycle path, the BiggeBlick viewing platform reveals a far-reaching view over the water surface and represents a remarkable stop. The Hanseatic town of Attendorn enriches the tour with cultural highlights such as the Attahöhle cave and Schnellenberg Castle. The route continues through the Bigge valley, passes the Ahaus reservoir and Ahausen Castle before finally returning to the starting point.
