The circular tour from Niederbergheim opens up a multifaceted landscape, starting with the passage through wooded sections to Hirschberg. The route runs below the village, leads to the Odacker chapel and through the Romecketal valley. Continuing via Unterm Stillenberg to Belecke, the Möhne valley cycle path provides the connection back to Niederbergheim.

Directions

We start in Niederbergheim in the parking lot directly on the Möhne Valley cycle path and cycle along Sauerlandstraße through the village. At the end of the village, we turn right into Schillingsweg. Alternatively, we can also start here at the Schillingsweg hiking parking lot. From there, we follow the path to Rennweg, turn left and cross Sauerlandstraße. We leave Rennweg on the right into Heidbergsweg in the direction of Honigkurve. Here we now follow the cycle path signs. After approx. 2 km, we turn right into Eichhagenweg and then left into Odackerweg. Follow the route to junction 64 and then towards junction 60 through the Romecke valley. At junction 60, continue in the direction of Belecke. In Belecke, keep left at the traffic lights to turn off towards the Schützenhalle. After the Schützenhalle we cycle back to Niederbergheim on the Möhne Valley cycle path.

Safety guidelines

Some narrow sections, partly unpaved paths, tour is not recommended after a long rainy season.
