Round trip from Waldhausen

We start at the Schützenhalle in Waldhausen and follow the street "Höhre" in a south-easterly direction, then turn left into St. Antonius-Straße. At the first opportunity, turn left again (descending path) to Lippstädter Straße, which we cross and cycle through Mellricher Hölzchen in the direction of Mellrich. Cross Mittelstraße into Anröchter Straße and onto the cycle path towards Anröchte. Cycle via Kathagen onto Kliever Straße through the industrial estate, cross the B55 and follow the accompanying cycle path. At the left-hand bend, it is worth taking a detour to the Kliever Obelisk with its viewing platform into the quarry, then continue to follow the cycle path signs through Klieve to the Kliever Mühle mill, and further slightly downhill into the Soester Börde. At junction 31, turn left towards junction 33 and the Schmerlecker Mühle mill is privately owned. At junction 33, turn left towards Altengeseke (junction 34). We then follow the cycle route signs to Altenmellrich. We take the church path along the Sonnenbornbach stream to junction 35, where we return to the outward route at Mellricher Hölzchen and follow the cycle route signs back to the starting point.Tour suggested by: Rita Cordes
