The "Sorpesee and Wildewiese" cycle tour starts in Langscheid and initially explores the eastern shore of Lake Sorpe on a largely flat route. Along this section, the carefully designed lake promenade, the characteristic Swedish and tree houses and the local lido characterize the scenery. In Amecke, the natural and interactive air adventure trail around the reservoir provides an informative addition to the route. The continuation of the tour takes cyclists past the historic Haus Amecke, through a golf course and through the village of Allendorf, which is characterized by its listed town center. From Hagen, a continuous climb begins in the direction of Wildewiese, where the Schomberg tower offers a far-reaching panoramic view of the surrounding low mountain range landscape. After the challenging ascent, the descent is a delightful compensation. The return route follows the familiar route from Hagen to Amecke before taking an alternative route along the traffic-free western shore of Lake Sorpe. This passage leads over flat kilometers back to the starting point at the dam of the reservoir and completes the round trip. The route thus offers a varied mix of riverside passages, cultural insights and the sublime mountain ranges of the Sauerland.
