The Glinge, a striking road bike passage in the Sauerland, starts at the traffic circle in Rönkhausen. The initial slight ascent leads through the village of Rönkhausen. The topography of the terrain gradually changes as the route winds along the Glinge valley. The section of the route that is designated as North Rhine-Westphalia's only Stoppomat route begins in the area before the lower basin. The narrow lane then winds its way through the forest towards the upper reservoir. The destination of the Stoppomat route is located below the upper basin. The option of climbing to the top of the upper basin offers a sweeping panoramic view of the landscape.
