The regional cycle tour "Through the Marpetal", designated as Bike Arena Tour No. 35, starts in Eslohe and first leads along the Esselbach stream before the path stretches up to Niederlandenbeck. This gentle ascent is on a quiet farm track. The route then descends to Cobbenrode, from where a longer and steeper ascent begins before Obermarpe. The passage through the Marpetal valley characterizes the scenic backdrop, after which the route descends to Kückelheim. From there, the trail continues via Sieperting and leads back to Eslohe, thus completing the circular route. In Eslohe, the DampfLandLeute machine and local history museum, which has been in existence since 1981, offers insights into regional history and technology. The municipality of Eslohe also has various places to stop for refreshments, offering a wide range of culinary delights.

A rescue point system has been installed throughout the region (Soest district, Hochsauerland district, Märkischer district, Olpe district and Siegen-Wittgenstein district). Rescue points can be found on the information boards at the junctions of the South Westphalia cycle network.
