The cycle tour "Between two Kneipp spas" reveals a diverse landscape that is significantly shaped by the presence of water in the form of the Ruhr and Möhne rivers. Cultural facets can be experienced in the historic Hanseatic town of Brilon, whose architectural testimonies and the structure of the half-timbered streets invite you to pause for a moment. The start of the circular tour is on the Ruhr Valley cycle path, which extends in the direction of Bestwig. After an initial stage, marked by junction 17, the RuhrtalRadweg is left to allow passage through Antfeld. This section leads through a settlement characterized by traditional architecture. The route then climbs moderately to the Brilon district of Altenbüren and continues over a hill to Brilon. There, the historic old town with its market square offers many opportunities for a break. The route continues northwards, parallel to the course of the Möhne. At junction 10, the path branches off in the direction of Scharfenberg. Between Rixen and Esshoff, the Altenbürener Mühle restaurant offers an opportunity to stop for refreshments. The rest of the route to Nuttlar is accentuated by the crossing of the highest highway bridge in North Rhine-Westphalia, an imposing structure. The circular tour ends at junction 18, from where the Ruhr Valley cycle path leads upstream, again through Antfeld, back to the starting point.
