Tour around Belecke

The circular tour starts in Belecke at the Schützenhalle. From there, we cycle towards the B55 and cross it. We turn right to Stütings Mühle and from there take the Westertalradweg (KP 36). We follow this path to the end and then turn left into Paul-Gerhard-Straße. At the signpost, turn right onto Westerberg, past KP60 and 61 in the direction of Warstein via Franz-Hegemann-Straße to the district road. Turn right over the railroad tracks and left at the traffic lights until the next traffic lights (approx. 700m). Then continue left on Rangestraße and after approx. 100m turn left onto the cycle/footpath which leads to the road "Im Salzbörnchen". Follow this road uphill to the right until you reach Nuttlarer Straße and then turn left. You reach the replica of a lime kiln, the diamond park and a viewing platform with information on "Stones and more". At the top of the hill, keep right to turn into "Plaßkamp" and follow this to the end. After approx. 40m, turn right into K68 and then left into Batheweg, left into Kreggenbrink, right onto Amselweg, Drosselweg to the left. At the crossroads, turn right onto Soestweg and then right again onto Hardtweg. Pass the stadium until you reach the district road. Follow the signpost towards Kallenhardt until the end of the cycle path. Cross the district road and turn towards Körtlinghausen Castle. Before the castle archway, turn right towards the parking lot and continue uphill and straight ahead on Körtlinghauser Weg towards Kallenhardt. Halfway up, turn left onto "Auf dem Schild", which later becomes "Im Oeleken", until you reach the provincial road. Then turn left, cross Glenne, past the Siechenkapelle chapel and uphill in several bends. We cross the L 776 and follow the former pass road to the left down into the Möhne valley. Directly after the underpass we turn right. The last 200 m are gravel road and reach the industrial area of Rüthen, first junction to the right and then left into the street "Hankerfeld". Then turn left onto "Mollenkämpe", follow the signposts towards Belecke and continue along the Möhne Valley cycle path to the starting point.Tour suggested by: Rita Cordes
