Directions

You start this cycle tour at the parking lot of the golf course "Golf am Haus Amecke" directly opposite Amecke Castle. From here, turn right along the path between the greens in the direction of Allendorf. Once in Allendorf, continue straight on at the first crossroads into the street "Am Reuterweg" and follow it until it turns left and ends at the main road (Allendorfer Str.). Now turn right and follow "Allendorfer Straße" in the direction of Hagen until you see a narrow gravel path parallel to the road on your right after approx. 700 m. Follow this along the course of the young Sorpe stream to Hagen. The path ends at the Sorpetaler Fensterbau company at a crossroads. Here you cycle right into the road "Selbecke" and cycle straight ahead and uphill until you reach the top. Here you have fantastic views over the Sundern area. You can also stop for a bite to eat in the "KnallhartesLandleben" beer garden (Sun. 11 am - 6 pm). Continue along this path over the mountain ridge until you reach the L687 country road. Cross this road (take care!) and take the road opposite, which leads you directly to the mountain village of Wildewiese, where there are a variety of places to stop for refreshments. At the end of the large parking lot, turn right towards Schomberg until you reach the fork in the road. Take a short right here and be sure to climb the Schomberg tower, as the view is simply magnificent!Back at the fork in the road, take the left fork and continue straight on until you come to a downhill option on the right (Laurenziusweg). Follow this path downhill to Endorferhütte. Here you can fortify yourself with coffee and cake or a hearty snack in the "Pension Pott" on Saturdays and Sundays, from where you continue on the asphalt road, always slightly downhill, towards Endorf. Once in Endorf, turn right and follow Endorfer Straße. Almost at the end of the village you will find the bus stop "Silbachstrasse" on the left-hand side of the road. Turn left here and follow the Silbachstrasse touring cycle route 5 until you reach a small industrial area. Turn left again before the bridge and follow the cycle path that takes you to Recklinghausen.Turn left again in the direction of Sundern and follow Recklinghauser Straße to the first crossroads on the left (Zur Eitmecke). Turn left here and follow the road to the fork at Bönkhauser Bach. Turn right at the fork and the path leads you up the hill to the "StockumerHalt". Continue along the small road until you reach a crossroads at a farm. Here you follow the path to the left and cycle down to Stockum. There are also many places to stop for refreshments in Stockum. After GutStockum (Coras Cafe), the path continues to the right (Zum Hafen) until you reach the main road. Follow it in the direction of Sundern until the 1st crossroads on the right (Am Bergwerk). This road takes you back to a country road and you take the cycle path to the right to Seidfeld. In Seidfeld, cross the country road (take care!) and take the road opposite "Zur Krausen Eiche". Follow this road until you reach the country road above Amecke. Here you have to turn left down the road to get back to the golf course and your starting point.Since 2015, the entire Sauerland region has been signposted with the junction system:www.radeln-nach-zahlen.de/de/Das-Konzept-Radeln-nach-Zahlen/Knotenpunktkarte
